Pulled tank to check Air Filter
I decided to double check the work the dealer did; need to keep an eye on them and beings this is a labor intensive job, I just HAD to do it.
Having no maintenance manual makes it more difficult, but taking my time and taking pictures at each step insured I could get it back together the same way.
The only trouble I had was disconnecting the hose connector into the fuel pump in the tank on the top left side. You need to push the 90 degree fitting down, then while holding the plastic ring that surrounds the fitting, it should pop right out. On assembly, just push the fitting back in and it will click into place. Nothing needed to be forced on taking everything apart and reassembling.
If you are reasonably competent with tools you should be able to accomplish this task. Set one day aside so you can take your time.
Work sucks; lets ride!
