Luggage Rack & Backrest

Just got a luggage rack and backrest from Dynamic Motorcycle Accessories! Check it out, it's magnificent!! I can even mount a Givi monokey top case to it without having to purchase a mounting plate. Top notch!!

Here are some more pics with the backrest added. You can see in the first set of photos above the rack appears wider in the front area. My bags hinge forward and they just cleared the rack. However, some other bags are closer in to the bike, so the design was modified so all bags (that open with forward hinge) will clear the rack when opening them. I am very impressed with the workmanship.

That's a comfortable looking backrest and it makes me want to sit in the rear passenger seat. Does the top case fit right behind the back rest?

I don't have a top case yet so can't answer the question. The backrest is mounted in such a way as it can be adjusted forward and backward, but not sure if a topcase will fit behind it.

Great looking set. My only question is how heavy is this luggage rack?

Don't really know. But can't be very heavy, CNC waterjet cut from 1/4 inch aluminum then powdercoated. Plenty stout enough to carry anything you would like and adds a minimum of weight; certainly much lighter than steel! I suppose I could take it off and weigh the whole setup if you really want the info.
