Bluetooth and satnav

Hi all,

I'm a new MLS950 owner. Just completed my first 400miles. I've had a flick through the owners manual and noticed that there is the potential for bluetooth connectivity via the bike but needs a 200 investment. I'm going to be doing some touring and need an intercom with a friend on another bike. Do I go for the Ducati system or something else. Your thoughts and advice would be most welcome. I've been away from bikes for 15 years and I'm just getting back into riding again but loving the MLS950.

The bluetooth is not necessary for the intercom. I have a Garmin , iPhone 7 plus , and Sena comm. Everything works except it all disconnects when you switch off the ignition and have to reconnect after fueling. Kinda an annoyance, but I purposely wired my Garmin to a usb connector so it would not drain the battery...
