Givi Top box adaptor

Hi all,

Well the excitement continues with my newly purchased 950. I kept my old V47 Givi monokey top box and was hoping to fit it to my 950.

Trouble is I can't seem to find any one who sells the adaptor/rack/mounting that allows me to snap on my top box. I see mounting options for the 1200 but not the 950.

Besides heading to Ducati and buying the expensive option, what other options do I have?

I've got one from dynamic motorcycle accessories. Great piece and my givi top case snaps right in nice and tight. Used the rack on my ride up to Dawson City in the Yukon from Las Vegas. No problems and was able to secure quite a bit of gear on the rack.

Work sucks; lets ride!

I also have the Dynamic rack. I use it to mount a 30L Givi Dolomiti case. Works great, and as Yukon42 says, the rack holds a lot of gear. I also use it to occasionally hold a 1.75 Gal Rotopax. I'd recommend it.

I am interested in adapting the BMW Vario top case to my 950. So I need a mount with the support brackets to the plate. Hepco Becker makes one and I contacted them waiting for a reply. I only want to purchase the support brackets not the hole mounting system for the Alurack. But its cheap enough to purchase it to get what I need. I want something that can match the Ducati plastic siie cases. I do not like the look of the large Ducati top case and I do not need the extra room. The BMW black plastic vario case is small and expands when needed.

I like the Ducati side cases because they come right off and leave a clean and lean looking bike, no hardware. So when I am just riding without traveling I dont need side cases. A small top case would be great and allow for lane splitting. The vario case matches the side cases when traveling and will work great for my wife to lean back on.
